FIL and I took a charter trip out of Lafitte today. I'm one whooped puppy. We are now home and boiling shrimp, potatoes, corn, sweet potatoes, and sausage.

It was, it was also pretty spendy and had the unfortunate requirement that I wear pants while dining in the restaurant. I wish they had told me that when I booked the reservation (I showed up in shorts). I think it was for the best though, the place was really stuffy, and I say that as someone capable of being pretty stuffy, but alas they managed to out-stuffy me.

No way a man should have to wear pants anywhere when he's paid to be in the Caribbean.

A Ho-hum salad from McAlister's, which is where my lovely wife wanted to eat tonight.

My revenge was to eat 9 or 10 Lemon bars she had stashed in the freezer.
