Have a 20ft tandem axle trailer w/ brakes on rear axle. Rear axle just broke and obviously need a new one. I know a new one with brakes costs around $200 but how much for install? Assuming Mike geralds In BR is my best bet? Or for those that have installed them before how easy/hard of a job is it to do in a day with two people?

I bought a trailer from a small dealer and it kept wearing tires so the guy replaced the axle on it for me. I brought it in and helped the owner swap it out. We replaced it in like 30 minutes. Nothing to it at all.

Honestly shouldn't be a lot of labor charges if you have someone install it....basically a few U-bolts. I would say getting the brakes back in order would be the biggest part of the whole operation...
