Video showing suspect running with gun

This is how shite gets out of hand. Video emerges telling one side of story with all of these witnesses saying the guy did nothing wrong. Thankfully, there is a video proving they are all liars, including the "victim."

If he pointed at the cops, sure. If he didn't.. does he not have the right to carry a firearm?

Was there ever doubt that he had a gun? He said he didn't point the gun at him. Meaning, he had a gun.

The guy probably deserves to be shot though. We'll never know. Doesn't change that I think the cop is a POS.

Do you believe he is credible after saying he didn't have a gun but video proves otherwise?

There is no reason for a suspect to be running from the police while carrying a gun in his hand. The officer's know he would either try to toss it quickly or otherwise assume he has bad intentions. He could turn and fire before the officers could even get their weapons out of their holsters. With that said, I don't know what happened but evidence is showing the officers are more credible than this guy at the moment so I believe their statement over his. And to answer your purposely inflammatory question, the officers also have the right to secure the firearm during the course of an investigation so no, he wouldn't have the right to carry a firearm after running from the officers.

ETA: I thought he said he didn't have a gun but may have been another person. I also love how "lucky I didn't shoot you in the head" turns into "I should have shot you in the head" by these credible witnesses. Yeah, the fricker is lucky a bullet didn't hit him in the head. Firing a weapon in a potential life or death situation at a moving target possibly from a moving base after a wind sprint is not the easiest thing in the world. The shitbag is "lucky" he didn't get struck in the head.

I honestly don't know what happened, and it wouldn't surprise me if he did have a gun, but that but video is way too grainy to tell what that is.
