TQ made huge strides from his FR to SO year. the year before that it was JOB.
I will also say that Jarell Martin also made huge strides but with him it was kind of expected. TQ came out of nowhere.

I'm thinking its gonna be one of the bigs. Between epps, malone, and Robinson, i gotta choose epps. mostly due to his athleticism.

what say you?

Malone will be the best player on the team next year.

forgive me for trying to discuss an LSU sport other than football or baseball on here, idk what i was thinking. for some reason i thought this was an LSU forum for all sports but i must be mistaken.

You're right, and since you didn't specify which sport in the title, of course you're going to get answers from all sports.

You, sir, are a dumbass.

Im going with Elbert Robinson. He has great size and if he can get his legs under himself and play smart and use his size down low, dude can be a monster in the paint.

Eta: to me he is a key piece. if we can get him to dominate down low for stretches of games we will be hard to beat.

I know he's the most popular person to hate on the basketball team around here. But I think Gray will turn it around and have a huge season next year. \

He has all the talent to be a great player, he just needs to develop a better basketball IQ. I think the game at the SEC level will slow down for him by next year and he will be able to cut back the turnovers and play to his ability. Plus the addition of Blakeney and possibly Newman will take a lot of pressure of him.

I hope he does anyways....

the only thing that worries me about both malone and Elbert is that to my knowledge CJJ has never really had a true center before so idk if he can develop them. i would LOVE to be proven wrong though.

Elbert Robinson--now that he has adjusted from the weight loss and hopefully realizes how important a solid low post presence can be to the team.

Looks like the prospects are great at the other positions, so he is really needed!

But I think Gray will turn it around

i almost picked gray but with so many guards on the team, he may not be the main priority of the staff.

I def agree that he has the ability to improve and be a difference maker.

Yeah that's my concern with Elbert as well. CJJ has to have a center that can run the floor. I'm hopeful his dramatic weight loss and conditioning will be good for next season.

dramatic weight loss

am i the only one who has never heard of this before? im not saying its a lie or anything, im just saying ive never heard of a kid needing to adjust to being lighter. unless someone knows an example of someone who had to adjust to their lighter weight and coming out a better player after the adjustment period, im gonna remain skeptical that it not just a lack of athleticism as a whole.

anyone have other examples?
