Last few BDs have been Parade Ground. Rented a movie that has me bawling along with the beers. Stupid decision.

That's been aged in the La Vista Loco Elephant Butt Cellars for a couple of years now. Dung is good.

Who wouldn't be willing to put up with a little dung to get some of Southern Oklahoma's finest brew?

Since we're working in cliches.....like we say up here......flush twice.....Houston needs the water......guess that's why their beers taste like piss.

Ha! It's funny because Houston sucks too!
How are the transplants working out up there?

My ranking:
Juliet
Lolita
Halia
Madam Rose
Gillian
Others tonight would disagree with my ranking. Gillian got dropped due to slight Band Aid finish.
Also, in the blind tasting, I found KBS more enjoyable than BCBS.

Watering them every day. They are still green but the small leafs have crinkled.....to be expected. Just trying to nurse them through the shock. It is supposed to be cooler this weekend with maybe rain. That may help them. Been upper 80s the last few days which is tough on them I'm sure.....or maybe reminds them of home. Just wondering when to cut back on watering. Probably go every other day pretty soon.

You sunburning SOB.
NBD; Boulevard Hibiscus Gose. Only one more bottle left after drinking these all year. The new batch is out or should be soon Oopsie.

They can probably stand to go without water as long as the soil is slightly moist. It was nearly pure sand where I dig them up, so very well drained.
I figured the leaves that were breaking bud would drop off, but they seem to be tough little guys. I have touched mine since the day I put them in the ground and they are all budding out or at least have green under the thin bark

I'll feel rich if I can ever get rid of a couple of the house notes.
Thanks for sharing your sisters B. And your rare-especially enjoyed the latest barrel aged offering from Running Monk. And thanks to Ms. B for the awesome grub!

And our soils are pure clay. But I mixed a lot of compost in the hole to help with drainage and lower the ph. I'm used to dealing with our shitty soil. If I can get them through the first few weeks they should be ok. I potted 2 of the saplings so if the one I planted doesn't make it hopefully one of those will.

I agree that Juliet is the best. I do enjoy Gillian and would put that one just ahead of Lolita.
Haven't had madam rose. Halia is kinda one dimensional to me
