Circle K on Brightside just got robbed

I pulled up apparently right after, knocked on the door, and the attendant wouldn't let me in. 10 seconds later about 5 cop cars pulled in and stopped and questioned me.

Serious question: If I caked my face and hands in makeup meant for african americans, wore a hat, and committed any crime, would I get caught if I initially escaped?

Strange things are afoot at the circle K

About 3 weeks ago I was at the circle k there and this crazy looking dude walks in from a car that was backed into the parking space with like 3 other people in it, grabs two cases of beer and then smiles at the clerk and walks out with it. Hops in the car which then peels out of the parking lot. I memorized there plate number and told the clerk, and they said this was like the 3rd time in 2 weeks that this guy had done that.
Point of this story, apparently that circle K has major isissues with thieves.

I remember going in there one night circa 2000 and Juvenile was at the counter buying blunts.

Funny, I was just thinking about that gas station this morning, but I was wondering if the ABC guys that sit in the maroon SUV waiting to bust minors buying beer still sit out there.
I feel like everyone knew who they were and why they were there. May as well have had a sign on top of it with blinking lights saying "Hey! We're cops! Come buy beer if you're under 21!"

Is this recent or are you thinking about the one in Tigerland? I haven't been around much since they expanded the pumps etc

I haven't lived in BR for close to two years, but my entire time in college and grad school I lived in Beau Pre and they were a staple at that Circle K on Brightside. But they also went to the one in Tigerland.

I'm not proud of this but many moons ago we use to do this. It's call yahoo'ing. When you are under 21 and its past 2am some things need to be done if you want beer. Whoever workedbehind the counter did not care because he/she was not taking the hit.
