Greg Jennings does absolutely nothing for me. Not to mention if he did sign I'm sure they'd overpay him

You can get a much better WR in the 3rd round of the draft

Yeah because teams have been fighting over each other to bring him in since he's been cut. I'm sure we'd throw bags of cash that we don't have at him. MoranTARD

I dont see why people are against bringing him in. dude was very good in GB, and put up respectable numbers in a terrible Min passing game. He also stayed healthy.

and think about some of the whiffs weve made at WR in the draft and the learning curve involved if you dont get a guy thats got the rare combo of size and speed.

If we dont get a big guy in the front of the first, this is the safest move to upgrade the position instantly. We dont have 3 years for a guy to develop.

Newsflash, Greg. You aren't relevant enough any more to play this type of "April Fools, I gotcha" game. Just sign wherever you're going to sign. You're on the wrong side of 30 and haven't have 1,000 yards in five seasons. You're a serviceable 3 or 4 option at best.

I agree, I'm just hoping that Ireland is the cure to that problem. A good scout should be able to find a productive WR in the mid rounds of the draft. There are quite a few in every draft.

I'd take him on a cheap deal. Everyone wants to bring back Lance Moore. Jennings would just be a better version of him. Between Jennings and Colston, you have two older WRs you can rotate and hopefully get a full season out of.

Hopefully, he can also teach some of the young guys what it takes to be a professional.

I don't want him to sign, but I'm not against it either.

You're right. The Saints would NEVER overpay for a player

When was the last time we overpaid a player with little to no market value?

I think Jennings is still good, its not like Minnesota had a QB to throw to him.

I would take him on a one year "hey i'm still good, watch what i can do with a real QB" deal near the vet minimum.

I was thinking the same thing. People actually have to care where you are signing for the joke to work. The funniest part was when he said he would announce it last night, I saw a lot of comments on Twitter along the lines of "If you're signing this late in Free Agency, you don't need an announcement." Being that no one really care, and he still isn't signed almost a month after Free Agency started, it looks like the joke is on him.

Don't really care one way or another about signing him. But he does put his team on his back.
