Buying a shotgun not available on US market

I would like to purchase a Franchi Affinity White but they aren't on the US market. Is it possible to purchase one and have it shipped here? I did some google searches but couldn't really find any info on the subject. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

Yes it's possible. You will need to use an FFL and a Form 6.

Why a Franchi Affinity White?

I like the look of it. Franchi doesn't offer a good looking wood stock shotgun on US market. My grandpa had a few Franchis and handed one down to me. It only shoots 2 3/4. I wanted something to shoot 3". I guess it's kinda sentimental, he passed away this past year so idk just wanted to get a Franchi. I have a new A5, but I'm about to toss that thing in the trash.

This isn't a cheap or quick process but can be done...

Another option? Purchase a base US Franchi and modify it to be similar to the White...

Ah okay. If it's a hassle it probably isn't worth it. And yeah I could possibly just alter a base Franchi I can buy here.
