[quote]Is this just happening to you like panhandlers at red lights? Thug would have to get pretty close to see it on your console, so I'm thinking he's tapping on your glass with his glock.

What kind of work are you in?

If I worked anywhere except downtown Houston, I'd probably have it in my truck. Just never felt remotely threatened there.

I just carry the usual for protection. 38 in the glovebox, shotgun under the bench. 45 in my waistband. Glock 26 in the ankle holster.

God willing, I'll never have to use all four at once.

And to all the open vs concealed carry comments: I prefer concealed but don't mind open carry. The only people I ever see open carry are the 60+ year old dudes.. I was in Kroger and some dude was open carrying a damn peacemaker in a leather holster in the self checkout line

Various pistols.

All are used on the reg. Never had to shoot somebody, but I have never been shot either, in several hairy situations where I was able to use my firearms to disarm others.

I also conceal carry. But on the other hand, Im pretty sure anyone who might be thinking that 60 yr old man would make an easy target, probably change their mind really quick once they see that peacemaker strapped to his leg.
