This isn't as much a brand thread as much advice on where to purchase. Thinking $300-$600 range. I've looked online and found good deals, but the lack of manufacturer warranty scares me. Any advice is greatly appreciated whether online or in store

Yep. Fantastic watches in that range. I've got two Hamiltons and really like them both.

Agreed. Jomashop has some pretty nice prices on the Le Locle right now.

I'd get a Laco, directly off of their site. Cool German pilot watches.

One more thing: follow "watchuseek" on instagram to get exposed to a large range of watches.

Just to restate the OP since some here didn't bother to read the first time.

Amazon, Jomashop, and SeiyaJapan I've had great luck with.

And some people didn't bother to read the replies, unless you're one who thinks it's necessary to post Jomashop for a third time when it was the first reply.

What you looking at?

ETA: Honestly check out the sales forums on WUS, there are some great deals to be had. I have bought/sold and never had an issues. A pre-owned watch with no issues is probably going to be fine as any defect would have showed itself pretty early on. I have never needed a warranty.

I lurked a brand-specific watch forum for a few months. Some of the posters kept mentioning their favorite Authorized Dealer, but would not state publicly who it was. I emailed one of the posters and he provided me with the name and phone number of a small jeweler in NYC and I made the transaction with them over the phone. I had to list the poster as a referral and had to pay $25 for overnight shipping. They sized the bracelet for me.

I have a Rolex which I hardly ever wear, I purchased a citizen Eco drive - its sporty looking. As long as it gets some kind of light it'll run forever.

since we have our weekly watch thread (how bout a watch forum), I have a question for Broke

What do you think of the Squale 20 atmos? I know some hate on it as it's a Sub homage (I would love a sub, not anytime soon).
