UCLA should be:
Tyus Edney
Kyle Anderson
Don MacLean
Ed O'Bannon
Kevin Love
and they would beat Kentucky and UCLA
UCLA would beat UCLA? How is this your UCLA team??? You are missing many many many UCLA players far better than what you just put out. Get out of here.

i think you may go Cousins or Nerlens at C and let Davis play F.
The best player on the floor would be Anthony Davis, but he was used a complete different way in college.

I think you could put together better teams with players from UCLA, Kansas, North Carolina and possibly Georgetown. Let's take UCLA as an example.
C: Lew Alcindor
PF: Bill Walton
SF: Marques Johnson
SG: Reggie Miller (tough call over Gail Goodrich)
PG: Walt Hazzard

Then get out of the thread and make your own. You are the guy that goes to a party and bitch and whine. No one is making you come.

Hate Duke or not, when your first team (post 1990) doesn't include the all time NCAA assist leader (Bobby Hurley), that's a formidable team.

Naw, he still has a hard time admitting he was wrong when he bet on baseball. Give the guy a break.

Uconn post 1990 is loaded with perimeter and wing players, Ray allen, rip Hamilton, Rudy gay, Ben Gordon and Kemba walker. Inside they would be at a disadvantage with really only emeka okafor and maybe Charlie Villanueva.

Ummmmmm ok. BUT if you are going to mention UCONN you should include Donyell Marshall who was as good as you can get in college.

there's more to point guard than throwing the ball around and being the all time assist leader. Hurley was a 4 year starter. He had time to accumulate his stats. Doesn't mean he's better than Magic or Iverson.

Forgot about butler. Uconn arguably has more backcourt talent than Kentucky and duke in the last 20 years.
Defensively, uconn's frontline is outstanding. Offensively, they are nowhere near as polished as other teams.

That's irrelevant to the topic. The subject is putting together the best all time Duke vs Kentucky team. I wasn't a fan of Hurley, but if you view his contribution as nothing more than "accumulating stats," you've significantly undervalued what he meant to Duke reaching 4 consecutive Final Fours.

Agreed! Does any other NCAA school have 3 players that were listed in the NBA's top 50 of all time?
