I did the same thing 3 weeks ago it made me sick. Use iron out they sell it at Home Depot and some walmarts it's white powder pour a cup full in a bucket. Fill the bucket up full of water mix and pour on rust areas. Your gonna need to do this four or five times and it comes completely off.
