any amount would be beneficial, not too worried about it since my pay will be increased soon and I've been consistent paying about 350 a month while in school.

Right now I owe right at 61k which isn't horrible and a lot of that is from stupid decisions of my youth

Congrats, I finished my masters last March.

Will eventually go back, not sure if I'm going to pursue an MBA or a doctorate, though.

The nonchalant way people are talking about getting PhDs makes me think no one is getting a science one

If I were to get a doctorate it would be in Healthcare Informatics, is that considered science to you?

A doctorate in education is good only if you wanna get into upper levels like a superintendant of a district or become college prof.

Other wise, its a waste of time and $$$

In competitive/desireable school districts, more and more building administrators are getting doctorates.

I'd only pursue a doctorate if I was interested in a career in academia.

My wife on the other hand needs one to practice as a clinician.

That sounds terrible. You can't split that into 9 and 9? With 52 hour work weeks I wouldn't even attempt 18 hours.

Won't be too bad. Only 1 really hard class. The rest are public speaking, 2 humanities, and 2 management electives

If that's your passion & you are great educator then we will all reap the rewards.
