They are in my top 10 worst

Damn the good list would be long. A few companies have extremely impressed me, but they aren't outdoor-specific

Having a bad experience with PSA so far. Not that they arent honoring their warranty, but the rifle was bought before Christmas, it is almost April and I still dont have a functioning rifle. The entire rifle is back with them right now and basically told them dont ship it back until it's right. It's been over a month and I havent heard from them.

Great customer service...
-Cabela's
-Riceland Calls (a buddy cracked the wooden barrel on his speck call and they changed it out with an acyrlic barrel and replaced his wooden with another.)
-Patagonia
-First Lite (stayed on the phone with a product expert for over 20 mins about layering and he was a helpful as could be)
-Huntersfriend.com (archery supplies)

Burris. Bought a used handgun scope from the internet. Scope couldn't be focused. It was used and had some scratches and a ding, but was not abused. Sent it to Burris and they replaced it w/in 2 wks w/ a refurbished scope that was in better shape. No charge since they did it as warranty work.
Redding. Bought a lathe-type case trimmer 20 years ago. Sent an email to them asking what parts I would need so I could trim 204 Ruger brass. Was going to cost $55 in parts. I responded that I was surprised it was going to cost so much. The customer service guy sent me a $25 part for free.
Millett. Some years ago my brother in law gave a one piece Millett scope base, the type that's adjustable for windage. As it turns out, it was missing one of the windage screws. I recenltly found the base. I called Millett offering to buy one of the screws. I was told they didn't have extra screws to sell so instead they shipped me a brand new base, complete w/ 2 screws.

There've been others, but those are the first ones to come to mind. In my experience, shooting/outdoor related companies generally have some of the best customer service/support around.

Battenfield Technologies, I bought a leadsled (Caldwell) and the package arrived damaged and UPS basically told me to get bent after a few weeks delay because it was a Christmas present. The battery cover for a set of electronic headphone it came with was destroyed and one small metal piece was bent. I emailed Battenfield offering to purchase replacement parts and they shipped them to me at no charge and arrived very quickly too.
