I just can't get too excited about getting all three.... I may die. I may burst with happiness. I don't know how I will handle it if we get Newman, but I can promise you that it will be pandemonium. So much.

Exactly why Briscoe says he isn't "recruiting" him. Only Duke and LSU has two McD's AA's and they are both of our guys want to play with Newman. I think the push could really help LSU where as Newman will look at Briscoe as even more competition on a roster that has a lot of 4/5 star guards.

The good thing for LSU also, is these two will be all over Newman again on April 17th, along with all three playing on the same team there

I've been driving in the car listening to Sports Talk Radio and they are bragging about the new Miss.State coach Ben Howland going to Jackson,Ms. and recruiting Malik Newman hard. Says he needs to play in state and be the main Star at State, not one of 3 or 4 somewhere else. We'll see. He's in a game on ESPN Wed. night at 8:00.

He could very well commit somewhere this Wednesday at the MCD AA game if his decision is set.
He has previously mentioned this game a possible venue for announcing.
However, April 15th is the 1st day he can actually sign anywhere, but he can in theory take all the way up to May 20th to decide where to fax his LOI.

State has so little to offer its amazing. I mean there is seriously no reason for him to go to MSU. His dad went there but he didn't grow up a diehard State fan. If he's serious about winning he will not go there. State MAY be able to make the nit...may...with him

I think Jerry Meyer is proving everyone's point on this kid. No one has any clue where he is leaning

The only thing that might be legit about this one, is that Jerry is in Chicago. I guess that he's been hearing from other recruits/coaches/media that Malik is leaning toward LSU.
