This is the worst part.
I just don't get it.... A school like LSU struggles the way we do with qbs.

I think needs to be a change in recruiting philosophy to exactly what we want as the guy under center.
I'll take a lesser athletic guy that is smart over a world class athlete who just doesn't have the mental capacity to play at this level.

He has no videos. He wasn't expecting anyone to pick up on that comment.

We either can't develop a quarterback OR flat out suck at recruiting the right type of guy at that position.

Either way, it's on the coaching. I've never seen so many busts/shitty QB play for these so-called 4 star recruits

As long as AJ plays in the scrimmages and BH plays in the real games we will do fine.

We just had Mett not even 2 years ago and he starts for an NFL team. You people go too far.

So why dont we recruit these type of players ?

Haha, LSU isn't entitled to every player. Just like our idiot fan base that think people from Louisiana can't go to another school.

I wonder if he's gonna stick around after AJ starts the whole season

He should. He'll have the starting position as a senior with 3 years worth of backup and time in the system. Or he could go somewhere and have 3 years to start over (new rule gives them a sixth year of eligibility instead of being able to play immediately). Either way, I just want good QB play from here on out.

If he does transfer, I hope Franks is ready as a redshirt freshman (he should be because he already plays from under center and has started working with a personal QB coach recently.

We recruited cardale Jones, jt Barret, Jeremy Johnson, etc... Again players can choose to play for whoever they want. Harris and JJ just happened to be the best qbs in the state since RP. We missed on dak, but no one rated him that highly, we offered him, chose to go elsewhere.

He should.

Two schools he looked at hard. tOSU and Auburn. He wouldn't have played a down at either of those schools last season, and wouldn't this season.

Is halfway through spring practice the time to do that?

Oh. I see, the middle of or the end of the season is not the time either. So you are saying that the miles pumpers will come up with a day that this issue is rightfully addressed? But only that day. Then we need to stick our heads back in the sand and allow 8-4 to accidentally happen again.

After he graduates, we can properly judge their careers and decide who should have started

Based off garbage time against a team that had pulled their starters and that performance against Auburn?
How did you tell he has "it"?

Jennings has a year more experience than Harris and he can't even separate himself from a guy that just got here. Rational thinking people would cut their losses and go with the guy who is on the upswing not the guy who has regressed.

I think Harris has a great arm and I wish he played more but I'm not convinced either has "it" yet.
pretty sure neither qb has 'it,' and the scary part is that LSU will trot out a QB that doesn't have 'it' for a second straight season.

Interesting how the same people that hear of random bad reports about Jennings from camp jump all over it and then shite on the coaches and Jennings while praising Harris and acting like the coaches are intentionally starting the lesser player. But when a negative report about the savior Harris comes out, everyone goes in to denial mode.

Interesting probably isn't the word for it. Predictable is the word considering the LSU fan base.

The agendas of these people in every thread is so easy to read . It plays out EXACTLY like you say every single time.

I've come to the point where I just want one of them to keep improving so we look like we have a competent QB at all times. We have enough talent everywhere else for Jennings to excel if he improves and they fit the play calling to better suit him. Aaron Murray didn't have near the arm Stafford had (Murray's arm is pretty average), yet Bobo and Richt were able to make it work and he broke SEC records. Hell, Lane Kiffin's offense doesn't require a strong arm to be successful (Barkley, Kessler, Sims), and it produces.

If Harris starts, fine, if Jennings starts, fine, just please let the starter be good.

Boy, the OP sure started a crapstorm. Setting the inevitable QB debate aside, have any of you actually stopped to think? Miles mentioned no interceptions. So is he saying Les is lying?

pretty sure you're not supposed to believe anything that comes from Miles in a presser.
