Nailed it. The Falcons admitted their own guilt and turned themselves in (so did the Saints btw). However, we've now learned our lesson courtesy of the NE Patriots. Deny, Deny, Deny.
How come the Browns and Falcons thing came out AFTER NE's debacle but yet both our teams get hit with stuff. The Patriots though? And they've committed multiple accounts of cheating. This was ATL's 1st and the Browns 1st.

I'm actually very surprised (and happy) over the punishment.
I mean, we did try and give ourselves and advantage through pumping in crowd noise not just for 1 game, but 2 seasons.
I am guessing the reason for the slap on the wrist punishment is because we did nothing with it, and also maybe because Blank came out and admitted everything instead of trying to hide anything.

I'm guessing they figured being in Atlanta and coached by Mike Smith is punishment enough.

I think that its funny that the media is all over the Rich McKay punishment....can't serve on competition committee when all of their commitments have been completed for this coming season.

That's what it ended up being, but not what they were accused of. Again, on Roger's planet, we were attempting to kill everyone we tackled.
