I wasn't even aware of it, until I saw the commercial for the new season while watching The Walking Dead last night.
Looks like they are starting season 2 in a few weeks. Is this a show worth catching up on? Mostly drama, I guess?

I watched season 1 on NetFlix. It's ok, not good enough that I felt the need to DVR season 2, but I'll watch season 2 when it gets to NetFlix.

Is it reality based? Or are there supernatural elements? It looked pretty creepy from the part of the commercial I saw.

There are people who call themselves witches. But is there spellcasting and supernatural occurrences? Summoning spirits and the like?

It's not reality based. You have witches, warlocks, demons, ect. This show could be titled American Horror Story: Salem

It's a great show and is genuinely creepy and the main witch is fine as hell.
