iPhone 5s giving me motion sickness....

I got a new phone on Friday from a warranty change out, when I got the phone home I noticed that the background on the home screen had a tendency to rock back and forth, since then I also noticed this happening on browsers screens when I pull up the scroll, and the notifications moving as well. Any ideas on what's causing this?

Settings > general > accessibility > reduce motion [On]

Turning off the parallax effect will save a little battery life also. Believe this is my first post on the Tech Board.
