Took the OG War Eagle out on its virgin run this morning to see if everything worked and accidentally caught about 10 bass today on a lake off the wild, wooly, white cappin' Washitaw River.
So, I had Church's Fried Chicken for supper, of course.

Pot roast specklebelly rice n gravy. Glad i didnt listen to the weather man today.... Called for 5kt winds calm seas. Looked like a blowout to me

Liquid dinner tonight- Sam Adams IPA
looked at my GPS and it showed I only went 3 miles round trip but I feel like I paddled 10. No bites:way: I lost a few tails on my soft plastics but I think it was crabs.

Lost one nice red at the boat - snapped the line. Couple rat reds. Dirty water everywhere. Not a good weekend of fishing.

Had the first boiled crawfish of the season this evening. Best part, they were free as it was part is my FIL's birthday celebration. Ate till I thought I was going to pop.
