I've got both exact knives. I definitely prefer the Zoom. The clip is better, the zoom is a lot lighter, and the blade deploys waaaay faster. The zoom blade deploys like an auto

Not a fan of the tanto blade, and slowly losing interest in serrated blades.

If you do want to look at a Kershaw I'd check out the Blur over the Cryo. Aluminum body and better assisted opening than the cryo. Made in US too. The clip on the Blur sucks though

Too bad the Cryo II does not have the G10 scale variation like the Cryo. The grip is much better with the G10 although it's not as textured or grippy as other brands G10 scales. It saves on the weight somewhat too. Cryo II is a big hunk of steel. It's like having a Hinderer designed knife without breaking the bank.

Brawler is liner lock/Cryo II is frame lock.
Brawler is glass filled nylon handles/Cyro II is steel
Brawler Tanto blade /Cryo II drop point
Both are Chinese made but Kershaw will stand behind their product quality with amazing customer service.

After carrying either of these for a while, make the jump to Benchmade one day...you won't be disappointed. The BM Axis lock changed the game for me. My Mini Grip hardly leaves my pocket.

Something to consider about the Zoom. It's a nice blade for sure. But, the aggressive edges of the jimping for the finger choil near the base of the blade, depending on how you carry it, may shred your pocket over time after repeatedly pulling it in and out. Enjoy which ever blade you choose

I've had this one for about 8 years now. It's been a great knife and love the stainless, easy to use, easy to clean.
