Darryl didn't notice that trap.

I think that was on purpose. A-Town was making them soft and careless.

c'mon....Darryl's spent all of about 15 hours total in A-town....he didnt even go the frickin' Alexandria Wine Mixer

he's not soft, but that was pretty atypical of his character

When Glenn was on the ground and had zombies covering him I wasn't worried and didn't think he would die. This is the same Glenn that took out a zombie will tied to a chair when Merle had him locked up in a room. Glenn is Houdini like that.

Sasha is mind fricked and her and her zombie naps can just go away. Take Father Gabe with her.

Deanna has to realize she has a mighty powerful attack dog at her disposal. "Rick, do it." Bang! Rick did not hesitate. It was a pretty awesome scene. Carol just stood there like it was another day at the office. Little homemaker Carol, "Oh Sunshine", her intimidating the shite out of Pete, and then her speech to the group at the end how people like "us" need people like Rick to protect them. Carol had another great showing this episode.

Right before Darryl lifted up that trailer door he was inspecting the trailer next to it and was sniffing it. I think he sensed there was something wrong there. How could he not know? There were tin cans hanging from the trailers, just all sorts of weird vibes being given off by that set of trailers. I'm fine those two made it out of the trap but how stupid were they to dive into a parked car? They should have fought there way to the gate rather than let the walkers congregate and surround them in a car.

Personally, I think the Wolves are just those two guys. I just don't see them playing well with others or there being an entire group of people who are all as psychotic as those tow. Two people can be psycho together, sort of kindred spirits, too many people together and they would just kill each other. Besides, how can they possibly bring more people into the group if they keep killing everyone they meet?

Great episode. Sucks we have to wait until next fall. When is Walking Dead: Los Angeles supposed to start? Would be great if it ran during the summer so we could get our Dead fill until we get back with Rick and Co.

They were called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles in the UK until fairly recently. Someone thought 'Ninja' was too violent.

I know it's a small detail to point out but when Daryl was riding around on the bike, did anyone else think "That's about the least tactical thing he could do when he knows there's trouble around"?

You can hear a motorcycle from incredibly far away in the country.

Whats worse is that they dubbed in the sound of a Harley V-twin, but his motorcycle is powered by a Japanese 4 cylinder engine. Smh.

I believe its called Fear The Walking Dead and the teaser said Summer 2015. Two seasons have been ordered, but I'm not sure how many episodes.

6 episodes in Season 1. I'm sure Season 2 will be a full one.

Hoping Summer means Mid June through July to get us through the dead of summer before Fall camps start up and FB gets into swing.

Would really make those couple months move faster.

Also who else is really pumped that it looks like the LA spinoff is going to focus more on when the outbreak is first going down and the panic is setting in across the country.

I really think that will be REALLY awesome to watch transpire.

They also censored Michelangelo's nunchakus but had no issue with the other weapons.

Carol had another great showing this episode.

Yeah, I think she knows that someone like Rick is what they need to survive long-term, but she also knows the dangers of someone like that with the power. However, I think she may have gone with it ("Do it, Rick") for two reasons. One, she was obviously emotional seeing her husband get his neck sliced. But two, she made the move to "let" Rick do it...she gave him permission. IMO, Rick was most likely gonna kill doc anyway, so her doing that allows her to not only save some face, but keep up the facade that she's in charge, making the decisions, and controlling everything. Smart move on her part IMO.

As for Carol, I don't fully buy into the "She's a total fricking badass" thing. I get that's what her character is now, but I just have a hard time going with it. Sure, she wins the little face-off with doc because he's a pussified coward, but most alcoholic wife-beaters would've kicked the shite out of her. And obviously it's easy to scare the shite out of a little kid. But she better be careful because she isn't as badass as she thinks she is IMO, and that could come back later to bite her (maybe even literally) at some point.

That whole scene was just weird. It's like all of a sudden there were a hundred walkers surrounding them. I know the doors opened and the music started blaring, but those walkers got there FAST. And getting in that car wasn't the smartest idea, but in a pinch like that you don't always make the best decisions.

I was thinking about what I'd do in that situation. I'd like to think I maybe would've jumped on top of the car. That way you're pretty protected, but can also start killing them and clearing a path. If I was stuck in the car, maybe lunge the door open and kill a couple, then close it back and start over repeating the process. Maybe crack the window (though the car most likely has power windows and is most likely dead) and kill them that way. Or possibly break the windshield and that allows you to get on top of the car like I already said, and you can plow your way out from there.

Walkers seem to be pretty easy to just opush out of the way, so even though you're being crowded by them, just shoving one or two in the way of other ones should yield enough time to bolt out of there.

Either way, it's fun to think about.

I don't know. I agree with you for the most part (especially about them killing most people), but I will be disappointed if they've been building up toward "the Wolves" for most of this half-season, only for it to end up being just these two asshats.

I really do think the exiled Alexandria people have to be in on that group. Not only does it make sense, but we've seen an awful lot of shite around the area for it to all have been done by those two idiots. And I called that gun at the beginning not having any bullets in it...I was actually glad because once Morgan started whipping some bowstaff arse, they surely would've shot him. So seeing the gun empty made me feel better about that scene.

"Wolves Not Far" is such a weird wording it has to be an anagram..

Has this been discussed?

"Hello my name is Rafton Sevlow."

Great point, and I agree.

I think the point it that she is willing to do things/go places that most others don't. Do you think for a second that she was bluffing or would she have killed Pete without hesitation? I think she would have killed him, no bones about it. That makes her badass. Could he have whipped her arse? More than likely, but she would have killed him when he may not have killed her.

The car was set there as a trap. Open the trailers, walkers come roaring out, you run....see the car. Self preservation says get inside. Aaron finds the note. They get tipped off that they can't stay there and decide to force their way out. Daryl had made the comment that if the car holds up, something will come along and take the walker's attention away from the car, especially if they couldn't see inside. They were going to rip the seats up to get cover when Aaron found the note.

it's relative

perhaps, outside the walls, she's not a "badass" in comparison to others, but she can obviously take care of herself

but after she started a campfire song with Tyreese's old lady and played look at the flowers, I'd say she's turned the corner

more importantly, inside these walls, she is absolutely a badass (in comparison to the residents) and she's taking on a bully's mentality - she can get away with it, and she knows it

I'd argue that shes one of the more capable members of the group. Remember, when Rick sent her out, she came to rescue them at Terminus on her own. Putting a bullet in the head of the little girl is pretty cold.

Because shes been there. She was the good little woman that her husband beat. She kept her mouth shut and head down. But then the Zcalypse happened, and she discovered how strong she really is.

Now she's the perfect operator in this place. She knows she's invisible, because she was invisible for so many years. Compared to the horrors that live outside the walls that she's had to deal with, Suzy Cleaver and Front Porch Dick are nothing but ants under her boot.

That's kinda what I mean I guess. I think she "would" kill him, but she onyl went at him because she gambled (based on her knowledge of dudes who beat their wives) that he was ultimately a coward. If he wasn't, he would've manhandled her like a ragdoll.

Just like with the kid. She threatens him because she knows she can get away with it.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate this new Carol, but they certainly push her into territory I feel she doesn't belong a lot of times. I know I'm the minority here, because most people love Carol as a badass. I guess I'm trying to say that I would love it too......if I thought she was a legitimate badass instead of trying to simply act like one when she knows she has the upper hand on someone (like a coward or a child).

Right, I get that it was a trap. I'm saying that trap or not, getting in the car isn't the best idea (was piggybacking on someone else mentioning that). But once the spring was set, so to speak, it was obviously a trap which makes the car an even worse idea. Don't get me wrong, it was a cool scene, but it adds to the "Darryl shouldn't have been slipping" argument.
