Anything other than a ceramic charcoal grill(BGE, Primo etc) is throwing money down the toilet. I had practically every gas grill on the market between 1983 and 2007. Every damn one of them, regardless of the design or materials they were constructed from, ended up the same, a rusted out POS. Not to mention the constant flare-ups and funky tasting meat. I bit the bullet and purchased an XL Big Green Egg in 2007. It's still just as good today as it was the day I got it. Will never own another gas grill.

I specified in this thread that the firebox needs to be a minimum of 30" wide, my absolute max price is $600, and it has to be available at Lowe's because I was given a $300 grill from Lowe's that I'm returning.
A Weber w/ a 30" wide firebox is going to cost well over $1000

Sounds like you've already made up your mind

Us helping will just help you blame shift if it sucks 3 years from now

You're right, why should I ever come here and ask a question and expect anything other than answers that don't meet any of the criteria that I set. Thanks.

Spend the extra on the Dyna-Glo if your requirements are 100% in stone. Less likely for hot spots and will probably cook your food more evenly over that large of a grilling surface

A weber genesis will last 10 years if you take half decent care of it
