Just stating the rules...lol...ground rules are your field's problem areas and other textbook live and dead areas....jus saying technically the ball wasnt live because it went beyond the field of play...if lsu explained this beforehand as being a live part of the field and the ku coach agreed then ku coach was wrong for agreeing imo...it cost him more runs..if you know the rules and not a moron like these plugs here, you know what im saying..

You sir are an idiot troll who doesn't know the game of baseball. You want to make up bull shite rules that you think make sense but in fact have never been part of the game. Keep your imaginary lines to your imaginary game and gtfo.

Except that the ball was not beyond the field of play. Basically in Alex Box if you can reach it, the ball is in play. The only spot really out of play is behind the tarp or in the stands.

If a ball crosses your imaginary line, hits top of padding and comes back into the field....what does your rule book say happens?

I think LSU wins regardless and I think it was the correct call. I will say it is not good that a ball could get stuck under the fence. Fix the fence so that it will not happen either way.

Its no different that the imaginary line that when a ball penetrates the dugout , its dead....versus a ball the comes thru the facing or front wall if there is one...the outfield fence is no different....according to this reasoning from some of u morons if im a coach I can go ahead and say the dugout is live at my home field and see if the opposing coach bites lol haha....its the umpires job the make the ground rules "stick" to the ruke book....that play "was not" ncaa rule book about what is live or dead on a field...period

Ball was live according to ground rules...UK coach knew it, he didn't argue.

1. You're an idiot

2. You do realize the yellow line in Alex Box isn't a HR, but in other parks it is? Learn the ground rules.
