Shake the haters. Getting their ears cropped isn't a bad thing at all.

Will, I'm looking to do the same. How did the process with GCDR go?

Simple. I submitted an online application about 4 to 5 weeks ago.

References and background all passed as they did call my veterinarian to verify records. A volunteer came by my house today to inspect our property and informed me that they just rescued a Doberman that is pregnant and is expected to have puppies in several weeks. Visit went very well with no concerning issues as my yard is entirely secured.

Since we want a puppy, we should be strongly considered.

That is a meaningful contribution. What kind of sick person does that to a puppy?

Why do you want to mutilate your pup again?

Don't go helouin. Baker animal hospital does a good job. Personally I don't like cropping ears. It's painful. However, it is the breed standard for Doberman.

It serves no medical purpose. It's illegal in several countries. Cutting off a dog's ears for no other reason than liking the way it looks. Pretty shitty thing to do.

You think the dog gives a shite that his ears are cropped? They put the dog under during the procedure. No more "inhumane" than cutting off his balls, imho...

I use Helouin's and have been there when someone picked up their doberman after being cropped. I use Carl Helouin, but I have seen Brent and Phillip at different times. They all age great vets.

Question for all the poor puppy, no mutilation, douche nozzles out there who still have their nads. Would you rather have your ears trimmed, or your balls(if you still have them) chopped off?

Even though some of you may need it.....

I do lol slightly when someone is anti-cropping but pro-circumcision with their children.

I just feel it is pretty hypocritical to endorse one side, but then ridicule for the other. If that's the stance they take them what about cosmetic surgery for humans that is elective? I'm sure all the pets people like bigger boobs and bleached assholes.

Have you ever seen a dogs ear ripped apart due to hunting and end up having to have the entire ear removed due to infection. I have. Not a pretty picture. All I'm saying is the same people who are pro neutering/spayeding are total hypocrites.

Don't pay attention to these girls against cropping a dogs ears. The puppy will be fine and he'll look great.

Congrats on the puppy. It'll make a great dog.

I grew up with labs and around them my whole life. As far as duck hunting, rice, timber ad marsh I have never seen a mutilated ear. who hunts with a Doberman anyway, and for what?
