Looks like we are in line with Gulf Coast Doberman Rescue to adopt a Doberman puppy in the next 3 months.

Seeking veterinarian recommendations within 100 mile radius of Baton Rouge that do a very good job of ear cropping (show or medium crop) for this particular type of breed?

Why would you post in a thread without being able to provide any meaningful contribution?

It's simply a matter of personal preference. To each their own.

Yea I'm gonna call them and let them know you'll be mutilating their puppy. I'm sure they'll be cool with that though

Considering that the person from GCDR that came to inspect my home this morning has a veterinarian that she recommends out of New Orleans for ear cropping (didn't have information readily available to her today), go right ahead.

So using that fame of mind do you consider having a dog spayed or neutered mutilation? I have heard from some that say there are benefits to it such as reduced ear infections, and reduced chances of penna traumas. On dogs that are used to hunt certain animals I have seen it to be a benefit 1st hand.
Ultimately it is personal preferance. Do what you want to do, and let the haters hate.

Dr Guidry owns the practice. Pretty sure he is the only one there that does the procedure.

Will, I'm looking to do the same. How did the process with GCDR go?
