Looks to be a great rematch of last years elite eight. Thoughts?

I feel like Arizona isn't quite as good as last year without Gordon and Wisconsin is slightly better. That said, I looked back at the box score from last year and Gordon didn't play that well, anyway. Kaminsky went absolutely nuts. On edit, I forgot that Brandon Ashley didn't play.

West coast advantage could carry Arizona, but I just don't see them winning here. Wisconsin is a way smarter team and it's going to show up over the course of 40 minutes.

Hoping for AZ (I picked them), but Wisky is obviously incredible. Glad this is the first game today

As sporadic as his play may be at times, Stanley Johnson is still a greater offensive threat than Gordon. TJ, York, Kaleb, Hollis-Jefferson, & Ashley all have another year and the pain of last years game under their belts. Like you stated earlier, Ashley not playing was huge as he is able to guard big guys on The perimeter. This should be a heavy weight, low scoring, half court game. The key will be if Hollis-Jefferaon can slow down Decker

Wisconsin has one of the larger alumni bases in the country and travel well on top of it. They won't have the numbers of Arizona in Los Angeles, but there will be a large contingent of Cardinal Red in the crowd.

I am (obviously) more nervous about this game than I was about UNC. Arizona is good and has the horses to make life difficult for Wisconsin's front line.

It was great to see Trae Jackson back in the lineup on Thursday and hit his first shot, on his first attempt, in more than two months.

One thing to keep in mind is that Wisconsin is tops in the country (at least in the major conferences) with a 35-7 (.833) record in road/neutral games over the past two seasons. This team is very talented, but very experienced. We'll see if both can propel them to their second straight Final Four.

On, Wisconsin!

Pulling for Wisconsin, but I think the revenge factor pulls Zona through.

NO WAY Wisconsin (#4 RPI) & Arizona(#5) should have been in SAME regional! Wisconsin could have easily been sent to the EAST! These teams should be playing in the Final 4 ...not Elite 8

Does the return Travon Jackson effect the team chemistry...the Badgers were doing fine without him.

T.J. McConnell is a smooth player

It is necessary for Wisconsin to lose to Gonzaga in the finals for me to win my bracket. So I'm picking them

I think this is true, but I think Wisconsin has been playing with fire the entire tournament. Kaminsky has been routinely bothered by smaller defenders. They have had to rely on Nigel Hayes and Sam Dekker getting to the rim.

Arizona is a complete team. This is be a very good game. If Wisconsin can't get easy shots inside they will lose.

Wisconsin doesn't need "easy" shots

Kaminsky, Dekker, Hayes and Koenig have all proven they can create their own shot around the basket.

I think it'll come down to Wisconsins outside shooting and bench player. If Gasser and Jackson can get it going this team is scary.
