Like that is just unfair

Just this week I heard national guys say GRIZZ have the second best chance to win the west. That's fri king laughable. Overhyped. First rd exit one and done. Unless u draw mavs of course.

I'm a Grizz hater, but I still recognize that they probably have the second best odds at coming out of the West. Only other team to consider would be the Spurs.

Just lost consecutive home games vs title contenders by a combined 45 points. I'd say that's 'logical backing'. Now MEM is only 2 games up on LAC for the 5 seed, .5 up on HOU for the 2 seed. OBV they aren't title contenders my original post ab them being overhyped is because people still talk about them as contenders and if you've been paying attention since the break?? mmm I don't see how you can say that.

They lost to the 2 hottest teams in the league while they are struggling. Why does it matter that they lost to Golden State now, but beat them earlier in the season?

Because the season is 82 games long. They still have an absurd winning % against WC playoff teams.

Do we ignore their 11 game winning streak before the break? The 17-3 start after the Jeff Green trade?

Like you "logic" has no basis in reality

I don't think the West is as good this year as most say it is. Best ever? NO way. Just last year the 8 seed damn near knocked off the championship Spurs in Rd 1.

OKC and POR have taken serious injury hits, and DAL got rondo'd. I don't see Spurs playing at the level they did last year when the playoffs starts.

GSW is the clear favorite. But to say that MEM has the second best shot no I can't buy that.

Best record over the whole season doesn't matter a whole lot because they aren't playing well now. Pels have best record vs SW division that means nothing when talking about the outlook for the rest of the season.

I can't wait for the Rockets to get wiped out in the playoffs. I almost want them to make the WCF so that the Warriors can clean up on them.

Let's go Dubs!

Who has the second best shot?

I don't think OKC, Dal or Portland have a shot. Rockets and Clippers have a small chance, but it comes down to GSW, SAS, and MEM imo.

Is this the first time you have watched the NBA? Seriously? They just beat 2 playoff teams back to back less than a week ago.

I agree. Would it surprise me to see them in the WCF? Nope. Do I think they are better than Houston, SA or Portland? Nope. I think Golden State is the best team in the league with by far the best home court advantage. After that, I give SA, Memphis, Houston and Portland all about an equal chance. The Clippers aren't likely to make much noise but could. I give Dallas and OKC no shot.

Dud you beat DAL and POR

2 teams that I just used as examples for why the West isn't as strong as people say they are. Lots of people are talking about how the West this year is as good as ever. I disagree.

Rockets clinch a playoff spot. Half game back from the 2 seed.

I don't think it's really that laughable. They are seperated by .5 now, right? Memphis is good, I'm not saying they suck but I think a healthy Houston roster is better and more dynamic. That would be a series that could go either way.

HOU has the 2nd best roster in the conference bro.

When you're bringing Terry(NBA champion), Smith, Jones, and Brewer(NBS champion) OFF the bench you're in good shape.

HOU will have the best player in the court in Harden in any Western Conference matchup. Their defense will be better than any team outside of GSW.

So best player, best defense, and bringing the guys above off the bench, yes they have as good a shot as anyone to knock off GSW.
