Have you ever buried or opened a time capsule?

If so, what did you put in it and for how long?

Or

What did you pull out of it and how old was it?

Buried a couple with classes in K and Elementary school in Virginia.... Have no idea if they've ever been dug up.

Closest I've come to digging one up is looking in the one closet of my room at folks' place that is more or less a shrine to my youth.

Buried one in high school. It'll be opened at our 30 year reunion. Every class does it (small school) and they put a plaque over it to mark it. ITo only been ten years, and I have no idea what I put in.

My elementary school did while I was in Kindergarten. I can only imagine there were beanie babies and a few tamagotchis put in that thing.

Our family did one in 2000 and opened it in 2010. It was pretty funny seeing the stuff we put in there along with the answers to questionnaires (favorite song, movie, crush, etc.)

Yeah it really was cool. It was our entire family, so all the aunts and uncles and almost 20 cousins did it. I was 13 at the time so it was hilarious to see the music I liked and what girl I had a crush on in middle school at that particular time. I was (am) such a tool.

I dug up 2 doing an addition to a Catholic school that original building was built in 1919. One was from the 50's and the other was from the 90's. We buried them both back in a different location and the school had plaques made.

Buried one in my parents backyard in 1990 and forgot where exactly it is.

I like to think someone will find it in 100 yrs. it was sealed good.

We buried one 20 years ago and now the area is a parking lot. Guess we will never see it again.

Yes, I buried one at the place I grew up. In 1988, put a couple things in a shoe box. A prayer card from a friend that died, MVP baseball trophy that I always will like to remember him and I winning together the year before and one of my friends added a lapel from being a pallbearer at his funeral.

I don't know if it was time capsule. My buddy and I were trying to cope and figured he's buried so we will bury our memories of him too.
Hell we were 13 a shoebox probably wasn't the best thing to use

I did one when I was young, put two dollar bills and some old coins in it. Mom found out and I had to go dig it up, got yelled at, and grounded.
