You have no "great" moves left when you're down by 2 in the bottom of the 13th. You absolutely have to move those runners and trust in your SEC leading lineup.
It didn't work tonight. CPM bears a lot of the blame for tonight but he made the right call there.

Hey numb nuts, Chinea grounded into a DP his previous at bat. Also, we win the game in the 11th if we bunt to stay out of the DP that Deichmann hit into.

It shouldn't fricking matter because you're supposed to bunt Diechman in the 11th and the ballgame is over. You bunt in that situation 137% of the time. Only a fricking idiot would not bunt there.

Now this I agree with. I still think you bunt Chinea, but if you aren't willing to do it in the 11th in a tie game then why do it in the 12th when you're down 2?

I agree there. To not bunt in the 11th was fricking moronic. Like I said he shoulders a shite ton of blame tonight but the call to bunt in the last inning was a good call.

I guess that I am glad that I missed it. I will retire to bed without the angst that you posters are displaying. But let me remind you that a baseball season is long and sometimes the crap games serve a purpose. We will be ok. I re watched the 1996 CWS final (Warren Morris etal) recently...What a great ending to a ballgame. But I had forgotten how crappy we played in that game. It was filled with fielding, baserunning, and coaching gaffes on our part. So we sucked tonight (I guess)...that's baseball. If we take the next two and learn something from tonight, it's all good. Goodnight....have a ballgame to coach in the morning??

The difference is we were only down one run so to bunt then made more sense.. When we are down 2 runs its a little different given up outs

Not talking about the 11th dumbfrick. PM should have bunted in that inning. You do not give outs when behind by 2. Idgaf if Chinea had a dp earlier in the game.
