frick this traffic I haven't moved in 20 min. How is that possible?

Its not that hard to figure out. When you get off you are hit with metarie traffic and red lights. Its bound to get backed up.

That's not true. I work in Mandeville, we have multiple trucks going back and forth every day and unless there is a wreck/fog/high winds, which isn't very often, there is never any traffic

Causeway usually has little to no traffic. I'm not in a 9-5 rat race, though.

There are slowdowns at both ends of the bridge during commute hours, but what do people expect?

Since I-10 in Metairie has been widened I'm sure traffic has improved, but 10 years ago Mandeville to Metairie was as fast or faster than Kenner to CBD.
