lethal combination on the bench?
Brady still has a lot of loyalty to LSU.
If Jones was willing to go along would anyone be opposed to it.

Brady wasn't exactly an X and O's mastermind...not sure what he would bring to the table.

Why would Brady come back to be an assistant at the school that fired him?

Brady is a year away from getting fired at Ark State.
As a bench assistant with Johnny recruiting I think it would be a decent fit, who else are you going to get that would have everything on your checklist?

He was a great defensive coach.

As little sense as this makes in general...it makes even less sense for Johnny Jones.

If he has to sit, then our hands are tied. True.

But it's as realistic a chance as Brady coming back.

I sort of envy Tennessee. They are a sleeping giant as is LSU. They have an opportunity and resources to make a statement.

He was a good defensive coach. Might go well with JJ's offense

They probably thought this 11 months ago and ended up with Donnie Tyndall.

Yes.

I'd like to see Brady back, possibly as AD. Maybe even chancellor. Anything.

Thia is one of the most ridiculous ideas ever posted on this board. Brady was/is not a particularly good coach (fired at LSU and not successful at AR State), nor does he relate well to his players or to us, the fans. There are far too many good up-and-comers out there to even think of taking such a backward step.
