Im just trying to let yall know it matters. It isnt fair but that is life

If I had 4.0, Salutatorian listed at the bottom of my resume, you don't think that looks a little pretentious? I'm not trying to ask this in a dick way. I'm being serious. What does it add?

I would hire a CHS or Jesuit grad with a 2.4 in General studies over you

Lol

Personally, I wouldn't put CHS and Jesuit in the same sentence.

It adds nothing from your school. Would honestly make me think you may steal from me. Public schoolers make me nervous

Ok, I will hire a Jesuit grad. Or I will hire a CHS grad. Separate sentences now. We good?

Since CHS has never lost at anything to Jesuit, I wouldn't either.

I don't list my high school on my resume. If I graduated from a 4 year accredited college, it's assumed I graduated high school.

When I'm reviewing resumes, it helps me figure out who I can buy weed from.

What does it add to someone not from NOLA or BR but when to a private Catholic high school. I know I went to public school and it doesn't matter for me so just hypothetical here. I would appreciate a serious answer.

In seriousness no trolling, it matters because for whatever reason the private catholic schools down here are a tight knit community. So it helps because when a hiring manager or partner sees that it is a common bond. It maybe weird or gay(hahahaha gaybears), but it is also true

I'm well on my way to having a CPA, I have multiple years of experience, have some pretty good personal accolades, if they want to believe I have diploma but didn't graduate... that's on them. I don't list my GPA either fwiw.

If I were hiring people, it would seem pretentious to me. Yeah I'd ask when talking to them, but I would not respect someone who put that on their resume.

It's basically saying "My parents had enough money to send me to a better school than you"

Exactly. Putting your high school on your resume I think can only hurt you. All it says at best is "My parents have a lot of money to send me to a nice school". The only time your high school GPA matters is when you're trying to get into college, and that's literally it. No online application asks for your high school information or GPA. I'd say it's borderline retarded to put your high school on your resume if you have a college degree.
