If I were hiring people, it would seem pretentious to me. Yeah I'd ask when talking to them, but I would not respect someone who put that on their resume.
It's basically saying "My parents had enough money to send me to a better school than you"

With a BS, and a Master's, I don't think I need to list my HS...

I would not really think much of it if it was your first job out of college...but if you list your high school after a few years of experience I would definitely find it odd.

It can't hurt. If you're local, the people at the company might have some connection to the school.
Bingo my man. That's one of the big reasons I got an internship last summer, because my boss went to the same high school as I did. It doesn't hurt.

It just seems out of place, imo. Or, as a way to fill up space, like "Hobbies and Interests".
This is how I see it. If it's on your resume and your resume is a page, it tells me you lack experience. If your resume is more than one page, then it comes across as an unnecessary space filler.

Tried going to other NO private schools, but Frank France called a bunch of them before I could even apply and said not to let me go to school there. I guess I could've stayed at one instead of getting my "education" at shitty JP public schools, but such is life
My resume is pretty basic:
Contact info
Degrees and dates
Statement of intent
Previous work experience
References at bottom

I was Salutatorian of my private high school and had a 4.0. I would never consider putting that on my professional resume'.

Only if you went a prestigious prep school or something. If it's just a generic public school I wouldn't list it unless you are looking to return to the same area.

I have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. No one gives a frick about my 4.0 in high school.

Didn't mean it as an insult. Some people understand the HS dynamic in BR and NOLA, some don't.

It would just seem immature at that point to me really. Not sure if immature is really the best word.
Anyway...I just put a line stating I have a MS degree. I have had multiple recruiters just tell me that I don't even need to bother putting education on a resume once you have experience though.
