Yes. Ride horses on the beach, go to stingray island. If the guy that ran the boat when I went is still there, he is an LSU grad. Oh and drink great Rum and smoke Cubans.

Awesome place. Island kinda sucks but water is great.

Places to eat:
The Wharf- get a reservation for around 8:30 and ask to sit next to water. They feed the tarpon (very cool to watch) at 9 pm.
Calypso's- on Bayside, excellent.
Cracked Conch- go there for sunset. great view. Also great snorkeling
Casanova- Italian, in George Town. One of our favorites.
Lighthouse- worth the 1/2 hour drive if you're adventurous.
Reefgrill- solid.
Ritz Carlton & Westin- several very nice restaurants.
Coconut Joe's- go there for pancakes. Roosters walking around.
Chicken, Chicken- great lunch place for rotisserie chicken. In a strip mall, but very good food. We go there every year on the first day.
Sunshine Grill- best hamburgers on island. Walk across street from Westin. Good value lunch/dinner.
Snorkel Spots:
-Eden Rock- that's the name of the spot. It's in George Town and it's right near where the cruise ships are anchored. Park at the Eden Rock dive shop and drop in water right there. Amazing views.
-Cemetery Reef
-Governor's Reef- can easily walk there from Ritz. Near Westin, and right in front of Governor's house.

Have been twice and love it for many reasons.
1. It is quaint enough to be able to navigate to any where on the island in less than 40 minutes. The highest point is only about 60ft above sea level so you do not have to drive around terrain on a coastal highway like most islands. There is a road that cuts from the south side to the north side located in the central part of the island.
2. It is a highly educated local population with a great blend of diversity. Almost half and half black/white. Being a banking center, it is not at all slummy in places like many islands. I never felt unsafe anywhere at any time.
3. The roads are as good as any in the U.S. And driving is easy even though they drive on the left side.
4. The grocery stores are all very modern and similar to upscale markets here.
5. Listening to the radio you will swear you are home.
Hard rock stations, pop, country, etc..
6. The local dialect is a strange blend of American/British. Not to much of either one.
A few places I recommend.
1. Seven Mile Beach. I have traveled to a lot of Caribbean islands and SM and Grace Bay Beach in Turks & Caicos are the two most splendid "long" beaches. The water is crystal clear and laps up like a millpond.
2. Cemetary Beach is at the north end of SMB. It is more secluded up there and the snorkeling is good.
3. Smiths Cove below Georgetown. It is a small cove surrounded by rock ledges and is a great place to swim and snorkel.
4. Rum Point on the north side. A small shopping and dining village with a nice beach and little pier. Great to spend a whole day there.
5. Georgetown. We only spent about a half day there. It is where the cruise ships disembark and is very touristy with the typical trinket shops ,etc.. There are some good restaurants there though.
You might have a bunch of folks who only visited GC on a cruise stop over recommend Stingray City. I would to if you are going to be there a week but it is not something I would recommend over #s 1-4 above.
Hell is also a place always mentioned but believe me...it is very underwhelming. Stop by and take a peek and get a photo at the Hell post office but it is literally a 30 minute attraction overall.
It is my favorite Caribbean Island so far mainly because of how safe and comfortable I feel there. Definitely not the most beautiful as far as inland geography but the comfort level makes up for a lot of that which is missing. And again, Seven Mile Beach is second to none as far a long beach is concerned.
*******Hotels on SM are rather pricey. You might look on VRBO and find a better deal with a rental.

They feed the Tarpon at Lighthouse as well. We stayed in Boddinton last time there. Lighthouse was about 2 miles away.

Ivan destroyed a bar next to the Lighthouse (excellent restaurant) where they would feed reef sharks. We always stopped there on way to Lighthouse.
