It's weird watching him coach. He does weird things like engages his team and the refs. He lacks that look that says "What the frick do I do now?"

He coached Tyreke too and brought the best out of him so I think this would be his best choice but doubt he leaves he just signed a new contract.

For real though, if there were a pro team Calipari would coach, the one with Davis and Evans would be the one, right?

Trade Jrue for a 1, go get Justise Winslow aka the next James Harden

Did he make him hustle and play defense? I'm still pissed at lazy arse Tyreke for letting that one ball get away by not moving that lead to an Ariza 3. I would not welcome an expanded role for Tyreke without expanded effort.

Why do we think he'd be a good coach in the NBA? Not saying he wouldn't be, but just curious as to why he's the savior.

Cleveland did offer him $60 million to be their coach last year, so it's not like he's not a desired NBA commodity, but I do wonder if the calls for Cal would be as loud if he hadn't coached AD and Tyreke.

Coached 2 of our most important pieces. I'm sure they would be all for it. I don't pretend to know about all the x's and o's but this team lacks a fire. They have a lot of nice guys. Nothing wrong with that and beating your chest doesn't mean you're good. But with the personalities of a lot of our guys, coupled with the low key, nice guy head coach might not be the best combination.

We need someone that can light a fire in these guys sometimes. Get on Tyreke when he plays like a dumbass, not be so loyal to Ryno when he's off, let EG run the offense when we have no movement with Reke, etc. Possibly put a top 15 defense on the floor with Asik, AD & Jrue.

I just think it's time for a change.

Believe me, I'd take him too but I'm intrigued with Cal and his history with AD/Reke. I think AD loves Monty & wouldn't be happy if we fired him unless Cal was coming.
