NFL.com's Ian Rapoport calls the Falcons a team to "keep an eye on" for Nebraska DE/OLB Randy Gregory.

Per Rapsheet, the Falcons are "open to edgier players" under new assistant GM Scott Pioli. GM Thomas Dimitroff famously tried to build a roster of choir boys, but his personnel role has been revoked. Pioli will be calling the shots on draft weekend. The Falcons know they have to take chances as they try to restock one of the league's most talent-barren rosters. Gregory failed a drug test at February's Combine, but has No. 1 overall type of talent.

Vic Beasley may fall to us at 13. This may end up being really interesting. Man this draft can't get here fast enough!

honestly seems like a pick they would do

they need pass rushers as bad as anyone

ETA: I'd be really happy if Beasley fell to us. Would be GREAT to add to this team and certainly one of the best realistic scenarios.

But if we get Beasley do we still take Anthony? Have a Clemson LB duo?

Could interesting, they did come from a top ranked college D.

Agreed but I just think it's funny that they're acting like because he failed a drug test that makes him have some kind of mean streak or chip on his shoulder attitude.

Yeah that is pretty ridiculous. Every pot head I've ever met was the exact opposite.

Roddy White is literally the exact opposite of a choir boy. I'd put him up there with Hitler.

Did you watch hard knocks?

Harry Douglas wearing women's deodorant about sums up our team.

But to the OP, we are looking at Gregory because we know Beasley won't still be there at #8.

I think Beasley is gone by 8. Falcons take Gregory which lets Shane Ray fall to us.

I really dont want Ray. We already know Mizzou defenders are not what they are cracked up to be and has his own issues.
Not a huge fan of Dupree but I think he's way better than Ray for us.

I don't want Shane Ray. Would rather have Scherff, Collins, Cooper, Shelton, or White instead. Might be a hard decision of Dupree or Ray as well. On draft night I am really hoping both qb's, 3 wr's and a few db's go top ten

I agree with y'all on Ray. I'm not crazy about him and I'm not sold on Dupree either. Im hoping Scherff drops but I doubt it.

The Giants are going to take him at 9 and Ive been on the La'el Collins train but now it looks like the Rams are going to take him at 10, so it will have to be one of these edge rushers or LBs.

I don't think there's any possibility of Shelton, Gregory, Fowler or Beasley being available at 13

Pretty sure at least Roddy White, Jason Snelling, William Moore, Michael Turner and Peria Jerry have all been arrested as a Falcon.
