So the dog has to die because of the woman? Its not like its wreaking havoc and attacking people.
This is an argument a 13 year old girl would make. Dont want your dog hurt, keep it on leash. Could have easily been a german shepherd in a bad mood on the other side of the corner that could have killed it as well.

So you'd let a dog have it's way with you because you're so hard.

We're still talking about a pug, right? Not some ravenous, dangerous animal?

Can we start the argument that pugs are just pussy dogs? I mean, if a kick is going to do it in, keep it in a cage.

Is anyone actually saying the dog shouldn't have been on a leash? I don't think anyone is saying that.
Woman shouldn't have neglected to put her dog on a leash (legally and common sense).
Man shouldn't have kicked a small pug to death for approaching him (common sense and not being an over reactive pussy).
She was stupid for not putting the pug on the leash just so it doesn't get hit by a car. But stupidity is a bit more acceptable in our society than maliciousness or cowardice. She may not be intelligent, but the guy who kicked the pug is either an a-hole or a pussy. Those are worse in my than stupidity, of which everyone is guilty of to some extent.

Maybe not, but you are being really weird now.

Putting all the blame on the roommate is a bit silly. If you know that your dog escapes when a door is left open and you have a roommate, you are either lazy or dumb for not being more proactive to prevent the dog from escaping when you aren't around. Training helps, but why not lock the dog in a room or kennel when your leave. I have trained my cat (who was an outdoor cat for years and is now indoor) to not escape when the door is left open. A freaking cat can learn. So can a dog.

Are all kicks meant to kill? I'll kick you if you cut me off in line at the bank. Attempted manslaughter?

I think we've found our next candidate for a FG try.

K. If I'm out jogging and a little dog runs at me, I'll get out the hand sanitizer that I was thoughtful enough to bring #Iheartdoggies, pick it up, move it to the soft grass, give him a pat and let it know I forgive it for all the little cutesy bites I just endured because YOU'RE THE SUNSHINE I NEVER KNEW I WAS MISSING!!!

Under the egg shell plaintiff rule, if you kicked someone and by some freak occurrence they died, you could be convicted of manslaughter. Intent wouldn't matter.

I swat at mosquitos that swarm around my head.
Mosquitos are not only annoying as frick, but they've also killed more humans than every other animal combined, and that's including ourselves. Let's estimate the number of people pugs have killed? I'm going to go out on a limb and say 1, with that woman running back into a burning building to gather her pug.

Are we really doing this, people? It was an accident, plain and simple. To call this guy a pussy or coward for doing something most normal people would do is insane.
Posted on 3/26/15 at 5:11 pm to sicboy
According to one article I read the guy was grey haired and scrawny. Could have been an old guy.

You do know we're not talking about a Pit Bull or a German Shepherd, right? It's a dog that has difficulty picking up a ball, difficulty breathing, and really running in general. Just keep on your merry way and the pug is probably going to stop chasing you. No one has ever been mauled by a pug. Anyone who kicks a pug is an a-hole and/or a coward.

I know the pug didn't bite the guy, but if it did, and he kicked it, would he still be an a-hole or a coward?
