Coach Smith was a "one of a kind" person.

Only $200? Shouldve been more.

Just lettermen. Bench warmers, nothing.

Will Jeff McInnis take Phil Ford's wife out to a nice dinner?

I bet Eric Montross, Serge Zwikker, Brian Bersticker and Orlando Melendez use this as an excuse to party together

Some stripper is about to be $200 richer.

Let's say checks were sent out to 200 players.
$200 to 200 players is $40,000.
Again, he didn't have to do anything. He could have given $0 and nobody would have said anything because giving money away to former players is not something people do.
But he gave away $40,000 when he didn't have to.

All I can think about is when Ari Gold offers to pay a $5,000 donation to Phil Yagoda's dog charity and Phil responds, "Wow, Ari, that's enough to feed, like, ten dogs for a week." Ari responds, "I'm going through a fricking divorce!"
