You may be correct. I won't ever get a lift on mine cause I don't do the offroading stuff that often to need it. My husband wants one...but he also has done some off roading in his.
I'm ordering a kayak this week
Got my REI coupon for being a member. 20% off any one item. Getting an inflatable one to be able to travel with and so I don't have to spend money on a roof rack or struggle with loading it on/off by myself if I ever want to go by myself during the week.

Normally you are not allowed to use your coupon on hard shell boats...called to see if this would be included since it's not a hard shell boat...it is!! I've been wanting a kayak for forever but just didn't want to shell out money for roof rack or mess with straps/pool noodles to secure it on roof. One I'm getting has a ton of good reviews...I think it will be perfect for what I'm wanting to use it for(casual kayaking on lakes, calm water).
