Jesus Christ you are fricking dense. I'm not crawfishing at all, I s said there were people in the media and on this board, that said teams were not interested in Sam because he was gay, you said you did not recall anyone ever saying that, I posted several articles of people saying just that.

It's not because he's gay. It's because of the media circus that would follow him because he's gay. Nobody wants that for a player who would barely make a 53 man roster

1 was from Sam himself, the others were just random quotes, you really showed me!!!
I googled "michael sam blackballed"... the 1st 2 searches that came back were from Tiger Droppings, and the only 2 actual articles about Sam being blackballed were from out.com and outsports.com.
Not sure how else to tell you you were wrong, there was a lot of talk just on MSB about how the backlash wasn't nearly what everyone thought it would be, but here you are storming in saying it otherwise.

I don't think NFL teams strayed away from him bc he was gay. It was more because of te media sturr his gayness caused. No one wants that shite while going through a season. Michael Sam even had a reality tv show lined up with Oprah Winfrey before the Rams made him axe that and focus on football.
Same shite happened to tebow. Teams were interested in him but all the media hype that came along with him wasn't worth it unless he was going to be a starter.
Teams will deal with media hype and distractions if the player is worth it but not if the kid is gonna be riding the bench
If he would have just said he was gay and ESPN and everyone didn't go to the extremes to promote it (live video of him and his boyfriend making out when drafted and playing in cake together, live stream from gay bars,constantly asking players how it's like to eat/shower/play with a gay man) he would still be in the league.

If he were elite. top 10 level draft pick, any number of teams would have gladly lined up to take him in the draft and have him on the team and put up with the media circus.
