Haha the shroud thread on the OT was up for awhile. I believe you can have religion threads and be civil about it and others beliefs. I'm not here to and have never bashed anyone's beliefs. I just state mine and am always opens and willing to listen others.

Sic believes in the scripture. I believe in the scripture to an extent. My mother used to say the bible was 100% gods word. I told her i disagreed and how I felt on the subject. She told me I was wrong and that I should ask for forgiveness .This was in Sunday school btw. I said ok, but you should probably ask for forgiveness as well. She said why? I told her she was obese and that God considered gluttony a sin and here you are chastising your own son, yet you do not pratice what you preach. Hmmmmmmmm....

I then said that I was sorry and if it makes you feel any better I don't think because you are fat that you are a sinner, and that I felt sorry for her for now realizing that in her eyes she was.

Always wondered why they called it a dream instead of a vision.

at the end of the day, God just wanted Peter to stop being so freakin' hungry, I mean, nothing good comes from hunger amirite?!

Sic.. I was kinda joking, but in all seriousness, in the vision God removed the dietary, ceremonial, and jewish restrictions of the law... he never actually absolved the skin of the animal thing... that's actually adding words to the bible.

ETA: I mean, who do you think you are, a member of The Council of Nicaea or something?!
