I've been 4 times... at 5, 11 and 17.

Trip at 17 was for Senior Night so the park was closed except for HS Seniors. Virtually no lines for anything. Hit MGM, Universal and Epcot in the same trip. I think it was only about $400 for 4 days, 3 nights including transportation and hotel. Exhausting. One of the most fun trips I'd ever taken.

Would love to do something similar as an adult.

I hit 7 amusement parks in 9 days one summer as an adult. Hella expensive. Rode 40+ roller coasters, though.

Disney world isn't a bad time at all. Gone twice with my family, once when I was younger and once in high school and enjoyed it both times. Even if you're too old for 99% of the rides, there are enough attractions to make it worth while.

35. Went to Disney Land when I was like 7. Don't remember it. Disney, to me, sounds like a miserable vacation. I have no intentions of ever going.

We went for our honeymoon. 30 and 31, no kids.

I had never been before, it was pretty cool. Maybe not the magic kingdom, but Epcot was pretty cool.

Everything was super freaking expensive though and prices just went up for tickets. Probably wont go back until the little dude can remember it and participate in everything.

I had never been to Disney world until 17 (senior trip). My parents didn't love me enough to take us as kids. Since I've been to Disney is France twice and since had three kids and take them 7 times with my oldest only being 7. I will learn from my parents mistakes and do better for my kids

Some of our parents couldn't afford to take their children, that doesn't make them "bad parents"
I'm 56 and haven't been....

The only time I ever went was to play in a baseball tournament when I was in high school. Teams from all over the country and two from Puerto Rico. Pretty fun. Never made it out of the wide world of sports though. And we came out 3rd in the tournament

I didn't go until I was 33. I've been 3 times the last 16 months.

you spend for a family of (I'm assuming 4-5)? About $3500 for the week (not counting transportation?

If you want to see this as a hetero 29 year-old male then the answer is exactly in the affirmative.

The park is built on a fake experience of recorded bird songs coming out of Fiberglas bird replicas with robotic controls. And the lines. Dear God. And the wife beaters and the rude foreigners out of their element and the alternative lifestyle couples yearning for parity.....

IWNHI

Spend the same amount of money and go to Costa Rica and see real volcanoes and real toucans and real monkeys in their natural habitat and support the local economy* rather than lining up for Cap Cities to slaughter your wallet.

*about half of the locals are women, some of them like to have fun with visitors.

I went the first time at 30, I had a trade show in Orlando and I brought my wife with me. We only did a 1/2 day pass at Epcot but really enjoyed it. We now have a 1 year old so I can only imagine we will be back in a few years.
