but 808s and Late registration were his must influential.
808s sucked and didn't influence anything.

LR was basically CD pt 2.

I pretty much listen to Kanye daily. I like individual tracks from college dropout, late registration, and graduation more than songs from MBDTF but i honestly think you are kidding yourself if you don't say that MBDTF is his best work. like if I were to list my ten favorite Kanye tracks, probably none are from MBDTF (dark fantasy, power, monster, hell of a life are all close though)

I mean that thing is a fricking masterpiece. I legitimately consider it the best album I have ever heard.

Well, I don't listen to Kanye daily -- unless Jesus Walks finds its way onto my gym playlist, which it sometimes does -- and I don't quite consider MBDTF to be the best album I've ever heard (though it's probably top ten), but I agree with the rest of this.

It's an absolute work of art. Most albums are just a collection of songs, and the artists that put them out are more often than not making 'take it or leave it' decisions about what songs should be included right up to the last minute.

I think truly great albums are a bit more than that. They are obviously still a collection of songs, but they're a collection of songs with a common theme or sound. It makes the album an entity of itself and not just a convenient packaging for songs. And I think MBDTF falls into that category.

It's a truly great album, and my second favorite hip hop album of all time.

Among many other things MBDTF has going for it, what a brilliant opening. The first time I listened to the album, I had no idea who was talking in the opening part of 'Dark Fantasy'. My first thought was that it might be Emma Watson, but that it would be kinda weird for Emma Watson to be included in a Kanye West track, but that it wouldn't be so weird that I could just completely rule it out.

Anyway, it didn't turn out to be Emma Watson, but it's a great opening to a great opening track. LINK

Anyone who puts 808s anywhere but last just simply doesn't know what they're talking about

1a. College Dropout
1b. MBDTF
3. Late Registration
4. Graduation
5. Yeezus
6. 808s
If WTT could be considered, I would put it between between MBDTF and LR.
