After Boyd took the money from Markum, he still had to drive to where Ava was so he had plenty of time to switch the money out of the bags and put something in there for Ava. He already does not trust her for being a snitch or because of her uncle.
The storyline about Loretta is somewhat confusing. IF Markum did in fact turn over his money to Boyd, then he would not have the funds left to pay cash for the properties, so why go there with the story about the aunt last night? Hopefully that story does not turn out to be a waste of time just to have Raylan square off against Markum's new weirdo.
Also, the preview where Art says that everyone is chasing Boyd, but that Art was coming after Raylan opens up the possibility that maybe Raylan turns bad with the $10MM in play, and that is his way that he doesn't make it out of Harlan alive as he realizes he has more Arlo in him than he cares to admit.

Lot of foreshadowing on Raylan doing something stupid bc he doesn't like what the marshals and ADA are doing to Ava.

I agree. that makes Raylan more of a wild card. But I see him letting Ava go with or without the money, rather than stealing it himself.

Great damn episode. Edge of your seat type stuff. I have a feeling Markum's Black Donnelly could actually get Raylan somehow. Won't kill him, but will hurt him or something.

Don't know why, but I've got a sneaking suspicion that Ava shoots Raylan at some point. I've enjoyed his character too much in the past few years to have him killed at the end!
