Schaefers or Capt Sid's in Bucktown. There is also a shrimp guy who goes out to the Hollygrove market and there is a seafood guy at the Crescent City Farmer's Market on Magazine on Saturday.

It's called Louisiana Avenue or at least that is what I know it as. It's in Westwego on the Expressway maybe 2 or 3 lights from the Alario Center on the right, if you are headed towards the city coming from the Huey P. I stop there all the time. Anywhere from $4-$7 a pound depending on size and it's always good quality.

FYI, they have plenty more than just shrimp. All kinds of fresh seafood. Bring a big ice chest.

You only know it as that because that is the street it is on along with the expressway. No one I know has ever called it that. Everyone I know calls it the shrimp lot or the westwego shrimp lot. As another poster said, they have a ton more than just shrimp.
