Was watching cartoons with my 2 year old Sunday morning and a commercial came on showing Elsa and Anna and Disneyworld....she looked at me and said "I NEED to go there!"
Guess we will be heading out east later this year.

On one of those stupid buzzfeed-type lists they had something about the staff at disneyworld. Something like they were so highly trained that you could put a piece of gum on the ground and come back in the morning and it'd be gone.
They pressure wash every night

How meticulous is the training, like how long does it last?
As a college intern, training was for 2 weeks, but there were daily reminders from supervisors about the quests' experience.
Additional note: They are probably a little relaxed about it today, but 20 years ago I was told to not come back to work the next day if I didn't shave the stubble on my face.

I don't think they are. Wife worked there '07 and they still hounded a lot of the guys about stubble. You could have a mustache(my only answer to that is because Walt had one) but that was it.

Stayed at All Star Movies.
Hate the allstar resorts... paper thin walls, terrible beds and the choice spot to stay for all travel cheerleading and sports ...
I've stayed at most of the resorts there..They all have their flaws and pluses

I will always rank Magic Kingdom first by a landslide...
My rankings:
Magic Kingdom
Epcot
Hollywood Studios
Animal Kingdom
To me, Magic Kingdom only ranks so high for nostalgia purposes and because they have the best hours out of all the parks.
Epcot is my favorite.

You're down for the count. At least every two years. It's fantastic family time and well worth the expense and occasional hassles.

Animal kingdom is just a crowded zoo with a few roller coasters. I was not impressed with that place at all. Magic Kingdom is by far the best. Followed by MGM. Epcot next but they really need to update future world. It hasnt changed much since the 80s. Could be really great again though. You are right about customer service. It is the best there is.

Drinking around the world in World Showcase is incredible.

Been at least once a year, every year since 2007.
If you plan the trip right, it will be the best place in the world to bring the kids.
Plan it wrong and it is literally hell on earth.

I've been there way too many times to count, but this last November we did a behind the scenes tour of Magic
Kingdom.
Doing this tour in May. Can't wait to see the behind the scenes stuff.

I'm in the minority on TD. Went to Disney in 2005, it is the most overrated vacation destination ever. Will never return. Don't get the Disney thing I guess.
Americans are fat asses. This I agree with.

Disney gets a bad rap on here from the OT ballas, but they have the best customer service in the world.
Years ago, we were down there with the kids. Our youngest girl's first trip. We were dining at one of the Princess dinners and they opened the doors and there was Cinderella. She ran in to see Cinderella, but it wasn't quite our time to be seated. The young man politely told us that, but my daughter didn't understand and started to cry.
Disney bent over backwards, They arranged for all the characters to come interact with my daughter for a longer time than normal. Then comped the meal. Got back to our resort and had a note on our bed apologizing for Cinderella having to leave early because the magic was going to run out at midnight, and a little stuffed Cinderella doll.
