yeah, I haven't been around too much so my loss for snoozing.

We're trying to decide on a trip for next February...all depends on if the wife can get Mardi Gras week off. If she can, we're going to go to the world and haggle with the crowds. If not, we may do a cruise in mid February.

We're going to Hawaii in April so trying to keep things cheap early in the year..between hawaii and Green Bay for the Wisconsin game 2016 wants to break my arse

Thanks for conceding victory to me with your strictly personal attack reply, thanks for trying; and better luck next time. In the meantime, feel free to ask me for some dining recommendations. I would start with Michelin. You need better taste.

... You can't be serious... Pointing out facts that you don't have is me conceding??

My guess he he went to Disney with his family, but probably stayed back at the resort being miserable while his family went to eat at California Grill, Le Cellier and (although I don't believe this part) Victoria & Alberts. He doesn't remember the name because he never went.

You don't spend $600 on dinner for two and not remember the name of the place.

I think I'll have 99 points then. I don't think I'm going to go this year so we can work something out.

yeah, I didn't see him mention Yachtsman

I actually prefer Shula's to Yachtsman in that area, but both are good. I just think Shula's is a better value.

The dining at Swan & Dolphin is really good. We really liked Todd English's BlueZoo and for a quick service Picabu has some really good food.

n one of those stupid buzzfeed-type lists they had something about the staff at disneyworld. Something like they were so highly trained that you could put a piece of gum on the ground and come back in the morning and it'd be gone.

How meticulous is the training, like how long does it last?

This is how any public place should be treated IMO.Sadly not only do people trash it, but we've degraded "lower" employment positions to the point where they take no pride in their work.

We almost did it last time we went, but since it was our first experience it was recommended for us to start in the main dining room, then try Queen Victoria Room, then finally Chef's Table.

At that price, it may take us 15 years, but the main dining room was excellent. My only "complaint" was there was too much service.

What I mean is, we barely had any time alone to talk. We both got the wine pairing so between the 6 or 7 courses, the 6 or 7 wines, the bread service, the coffee service even three hours wasn't enough for us to really chat. I figured if we got the chef's table that is what it would be like, but wasn't quite expecting that in the dining room.

I know I could have asked for some space but I really wanted to experience all that V&A had to offer and it was truly amazing. Without question, the best meal I have ever had.

I've eat at a Shula's before, but not the one there. Agree with you on the value.

As many times as I've been the closet I've been to swan and dolphin is the insane mini golf course

Story goes that when they were trying to figure out how far part to put the garbage cans walt disney noted where he stood and started walking while eating a hot dog. When he was done, he told them to measure the distance and that is how far apart they need to be.

Over the years, alot of visions have changed, but his approach hasn't for the most part.

Last september while we were waiting for the festival of Fantasy parade I was sitting on the curb and my daughter saw a Mickey sticker on the ground so she tried to pick it up. Well, it was stuck to the ground. So, she told me we couldn't leave it there and we started to try and pull it off the ground with our fingernails and such.

A CM must have saw us and came up to us and gave us two paper FPs for anything we wanted in Magic Kingdom.

If you have little ones and need a sitter, Swan & Dolphin kid's camp (Camp Dolphin) offers two hours of free childcare with the purchase of two entrees at one of their restaurants so that saves you another $35 or so.

We love Disney World and are going with 5&7 year old grandkids the september.

I like all the parks, but I find Epcot pretty boring.

And now I would like to present a black truffle bread with black truffle butter. This particular bread is earthy, airy, warm and very satisfying. These truffles are harvested in the middle east hand picked by chef himself while he was there on a 9 week scavenger hunt to find the worlds most delectable foods. You will find the same truffles in the butter which is coated ever so lightly in sea salt to give the flavor the perfect mix of salt and sweet to really cleanse the palate. Chef suggests to first try the bread without the butter, then maybe spread a little bit to have a good contrast how of the flavors interact alone, them combined.

Now, if you excuse me I will go and get your wine pairings for the third course of the evening. Our sommelier has chosen two delightful wines for your next course. I truly believe you will both enjoy them very much.
