What are you even talking about? Have you ever watched a basketball game? Do you think the Splash Bros play the whole 4th quarter when they are winning by 20 points?
Apparently, you are having a hard time with the word "regularity".

im not even one to say shite like this, but I've ran circles around you in this thread, correcting at least 4 of your misinformative points
No the only thing you've corrected is on Mirotic's euro career. You call him a 24 year old(birthday in February), but Wiggins is a 19 year old for the most part (Also in February).
Lester by your own admission, you need to be woken up when the conference finals happen. That alone speaks to your attention when it comes to the NBA.
quote::lol: You ignore the fact the when adjusted for minutes/possessions- Nikola outperforms Wiggins
But of course you revert to attacks when proven wrong. Kinda sad
It's intellectually dishonest to the argument when failing to recognize this.
Wiggins is a limited offensive player who's TS is lower gets to the line at a lower rate and even assists AS A frickING GUARD at a lower rate than the power forward in question.
So while you're "running" around me, you're failing to see the forest for the trees about Mirotic, who btw, if you haven't googled him today, Ball Don't Lie gives both the positive and negatives for him

This thread has been entertaining. Burgundy's incessant defense of his "real basketball knowledge" drew a chuckle.

Not at all. If 1 out of every 4 games is a sealed affair by the point in the 4th quarter(very reasonable for a good team) they get 25% less 4th quarter minutes. That's huge.
It is by no means insignificant. It doesn't have a huge effect on total game averages except for extremely good teams(Warriors) because it can be distributed out over 4 quarters. Not that big of a percentage change. But typical minutes for a starter is the entire 3rd quarter(or most of it), sit the first 3-6 minutes of the 4th, and come in. So when you only play the last 6-9 minutes of the 4th even in close games, that's a big deal when every few games you get sat for the last half of the 4th. It is far from insignificant.

The difference between a 19 year old and 20 year old is significant and worth nitpicking over/mentioning. The difference between a 23 and 24 year old is not.

Just to be clear, are you arguing Mirotic has been better this year, or that he has more upside going forward, or both?
Btw the article you linked has no good info. In fact it raises the same questions I have about Mirotic

His "point" is that teams are playing a significant number of games that are over before the 4th to the point that "star" players aren't seeing the floor at all...that number is not 25%. He is using the only team in the league that may be applicable to make a larger point.
