You know you're good when you can pitch a complete game shutout against the #6 team in the country, then come back and run rule them the next day. Damn strong softball team.

RPI was published today. We are #2 behind Florida. I assume that will work itself out as we get into more SEC play and our SOS goes up

I am not surprised Florida was #1 in RPI. While we have played a pretty tough schedule, Florida has played a hellacious schedule. They beat #2 Oregon twice, Michigan once, Arizona, and now Alabama once...and us once. Most of their tough schedule was played away from home, while most of LSU's was at home. So no shock they were number 1. We just need to stay top 8.

LSU RPI 2 and the Red Team at 14. If those numbers hold you can take that super regional matchup to the bank.

Hopefully LSU can get over that hump if that's the case. They've had our number in the post season here lately.

now Alabama once

Make that twice. Came back the win the resumption of the second game that started Saturday. Can only be a good thing for Bama to lose since LSU doesn't play them this season.

Tiger Park wouldn't be big enough to hold the crowd.

I think Alabama eventually moves up and will be seeded higher though, this weekend's losses to Florida notwithstanding.

I just took a look at the RPI and realize that its ULL and not Alabama with the RPI of 14.....I was thinking about the wrong assholes in red...
